As I walked my 6 year old daughter to school today , we walked and chatted as we usually do .
The sun was shining , the birds were singing as I took her beautiful soft hand in my hand , and savoured every minute !
Her hand is so small , and it won’t always be so small ! It won’t always fit in mine !
She won’t always want to hold my hand !
So we walked , and I just held her hand and wrapped the memory up in pretty pink paper , to save it in my mind !
I went to work and savoured this early morning walk !
We can often wander through life , rushing from home to school to work ,
and not really take the time to appreciate the here and now !
I went to my mums after work , she minds the kids on a Tuesday , and I shared my thoughts with her and I took her hand and I held it ! It mightn’t be as small as it used to be but I hope it felt as nice !!

Saw a man on the tv this morning . He has recently been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and has 6 months to live !
He said he never felt so alive the sun , the trees , food , everything is so amazing now ‘
He feels like he is tingling all over !!
It’s a pity that a terminal diagnosis is needed to appreciate life !!
We should all learn from this gentleman to appreciate life now !!
To live every day as if it’s our last .
“What day is it?”
It’s today,” squeaked Piglet.
My favorite day,” said Pooh.”

Given the choice between the experience of pain and nothing I would choose pain
Having spent the last ten years with whiplash injury and regular bouts of neck pain I have began to look elsewhere for help with the pain !!
The Alexander technique is mindful movement . Learning to use your body as it was meant to move !! It’s proving very useful but I find when you are busy the mindfulness is getting lost both in the movement and mind !
I assume the key is regular meditation .
Going to promise myself a half hour every second day and see what difference it makes .
introduction to the Alexander technique
I finished the mindfulness meditation course.
I would recommend it to everyone . It is 8 weeks to the rest of your life .
It. Teaches you skills and techniques in meditation and stress reduction that you can use for life .
Just appreciate what’s right in front of you right now !!this picture was taken by my friend during the week .
“There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.”
