I’m struck down with laryngitis !
My voice is almost gone and my throat is a bit sore .

Associated with scratchy throat , other upper respiratory tract infection symptoms and signs fever congestion tickle in throat
Hoarseness more than 4 weeks needs investigation with chest x ray and /or ear nose and throat referral
Rest stop talking
Humidifier or steam in shower
Garlic anti viral
Zinc lozenges anti viral
Having suffered with sore throats for so long last year and with my ongoing neck pain , I thought I might look outside the medical model for my own curiosities..
Other school of thought ,interestingly says laryngitis is
related to fear of speaking up , resentment of authority , or being so angry you can’t speak !,
