Getting through today

I took the children to a show yesterday . I really didn’t want to go . Having done a course in cognitive behavioural therapy I know that feelings are difficult to change but actions are all in our control. In other words you may not feel like going but you should go as then you will feel better .

It worked ! I had a great time ,the children really enjoyed it and I was so happy looking at them smiling and dancing !!!

Tip from today

You have far more control over your actions than your thoughts. so if you feel too miserable to do something make yourself go it will make you feel better !
